ALL KITTENS SHOWN BELOW ARE EITHER SOLD OR HAVE BEEN KEPT FOR OUR BREEDING PROGRAM!!! *****Scroll down below photo's to check out our show incentive!!!****Even thou we think they are show quality, they do not have to be shown, they can be sold as pets that never see the inside of a show hall, but they will be the show quality price. And since cornish rex kittens change so often as they grow up, they can change enough to be considered pet quality, as they mature. We look for body type, ear size, shape & placement, eye color, shape & placement, lenght of leg, depth, type, feel, lenght and size of waves. And most important "show personality". We can guarantee that all our kittens will have wavey coats, but we will not guarantee at what age the coat will appear as it varies. If a kitten is born with waves, it will eventually get them back. Sometimes it's at 4 months but most often, it's between 6-8 months old. If you don't trust our opinion, we suggest you consider an adult cat that has the coat, qualities and temperment you are desiring to have in a cat. We guarantee you will be just as happy with an adult as you would be with a kitten. In our opinion, cornish rex never grow up. They just get bigger, but heck, an adult male only gets to about 8lbs which in comparison to other cats, isnt' really that big at all. breeding boy named after his dad, Whitey Jr and is proving to be a wonderful stud for Billie Ridgway of Ridgway Cornish Rex in
California.
Our Show incentive When we have kittens that we feel are show quality, but can not keep or show ourselves, we offer them for sale to folks who want to get involved in showing their kitten/cat. We sell these kittens for $1100.00 but offer a "rebate" incentive!!! We do not sell cats for breeding, to folks who have never shown in premiership. We spay or neuter them prior to placement. If you have been showing, in CFA and would like a breeding cat from us, be advised that we have strict contracts on some of our breeding cats. These contracts forbid us to sell whole, intact, unspayed or unneutered offspring for x number of generations. However, we do have a few lines without such restrictions. Our breeding cats are $2000 to $3000. Why so high? Think about how many females a whole male can breed and how many kittens one female can have in just one litter a year. If you are not dedicated to this breed or any other breed for that matter, and just want to see a litter born, you shouldn't be a breeder, rent the video! Unlike dogs, these cats can be shown in the Kitten class and then The Premiership Class and can continue to compete for other titles until either he/she doesn't like it any more, you don't have time anymore, or you get hooked and get another cat to show. CFA is the Largest cat fanciers association in the world. Yes, CFA is in other countries too. There are other cat fanciers associations, but we at Roseric, only belong to and show in CFA. (click here to go to CFA's website) Kittens age 4 months old to 1 day prior to their 8 month old birthday, can be shown in the Kitten class, (click here to read all about the kitten class) the day they turn 8 months old, they move into the Premiership class. The kittens we keep for our breeding program that are not spayed or neutered, go into the Championship class. (click here to read all about the premiership class) (example-born Jan 1- will be 4 months on May 1, and 8 months on Sept 1) If you choose to get involved in showing, (click here to read all about showing) and the kitten you purchase is shown in CFA (at your expense), obtains the title of Grand Premier & a copy of the Grand certificate and show entry fee receipts are sent to us,(via email or snail mail) we will send you a check for the entry fee's, of the shows attended, up to $150.00. Why are we willing to give money back to you if you show one of our cats in CFA shows? Showing is expensive, it takes up either all day Saturday or both Sat & Sun of your weekend and even thou you get to keep the rosettes your cat wins, and the original Grand Certificate & are proud of your "show kitty" Roseric Cattery gets credit for the cat having obtained the "Grand" (GP) title that sits in front of the cats name. (GP Roseric's .....)These titles say that we are producing cats that meet the CFA confirmation standard for the Cornish Rex . Since this is a "big deal" for us, we feel, you deserve this incentive.
